Customer Review: Looks but no brains
Philips MCD288 Micro DVD Home Theater System with Subwoofer A very stylish system. It sounds good, but not great. If you plan to listen to it at low volumes there is a background hum that is quite annoying. At volume 4 and above, sounds really nice. Unfortunately, we bought it for our infant to listen to lullabies to get to sleep. We set it at 3 and there's a slight hum that annoys me. I'm sure my daughter won't mind, but if I had to do it over again I would not have purchased this one. There is no clock feature on this either.

Stylish, small, plays divx, complete in all functions Very good for small places. If you want a living room home theather don't buy this Fits for what is expected.I give 4 stars because divx subtitles have to be the same name of movie. I had to rename all my divx.movies and subtitles
