The system consists of four RSX-5 satellite speakers, an RCX-4 center channel and a powerful RW-10 subwoofer.

To meet the demand for speakers that fit almost anywhere and still deliver excellent sound, Klipsch had created a compact center channel for the Reference Series line. The RCX-4 combines performance and style for users who hunger for big sound, but want it in a small package. The Reference Series continues its legacy of powerful sound and visual elegance with the compact RSX-5 satellite loudspeakers. The versatile RSX-5 can serve as either a left or right monitor, as well as a surround speaker.

Both the RCX-4 and RSX-5 are magnetically shielded and deliver sound by utilizing one-inch titanium-dome compression drivers coupled with Klipsch's new round MicroTractix Horns. The RCX-4 features a pair of four-inch woofers for added bass tones, and the RSX-5 speakers capture every sonic detail with their 5.25-inch woofers.

The Reference Series RW-10 subwoofer has a sophisticated appearance and produces deep, loud bass tones. This 10-inch woofer features Klipsch's copper-colored Cerametallic cone constructed from an anodized aluminum, making it extra-hard and incredibly dent resistant.
